Winifred "Wini" Jane Mitchell

Winifred (Wini) Jane Mitchell, age 97 of Medford Oregon passed away on March 2nd at her home. Wini married Audry (Buck) Harrington in 1940 and had one daughter Carolyn Berg (Bob). Wini lived and worked in Pasadena, California for many years. She worked for Joyce Shoe Company and Bell & Howell making cables. She was proud to say that some of her work from the Apollo missions still remains on the moon. On November 1,1975 she married Andrew "Darrell" Mitchell. Wini has four surviving stepchildren Dary French (Fred), Dale Mitchell (Vicki), Dean Mitchell, and Debi Higgins (Mike). Wini and Darrell lived in Portland, Oregon until 2004 when they moved to Medford where Darrell was from. Wini and Darrell enjoyed camping, especially the annual "Mitchell Family Campout". She is survived by her daughter, stepchildren, 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband and all of her siblings. Private Services will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery
