Karen Ruth Sands

Karen passed away peacefully with her family in attendance. She loved cooking and every evening playing along with Jeopardy. Adventure and traveling were her main motivators and scuba diving her most loved pass time. She spoke French, Spanish and German fluently and had a bachelor's degree in Spanish from S.O.U..

She is survived by her daughter Ophelia Sands, her parents David and Mary Sands, her sisters Kathryn and Kimberly Sands, her grandmother Alyene Gasaway, her nephew Arthur Peacock and her niece Daphne Preston.

She will be greatly missed.
