Jona Kathleen Nelmes, age 92 years, passed Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018. She was born Jan. 11, 1926 in Gibraltar to parents William John Hastings and Jane Keating. She was a longtime Brookings, OR resident. Jona will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, OR. A public Mass of Christian burial will be read in her honor to be announced.
