Jerry Lee Stuart

Jerry Stuart was born at the French Hospital in China Town, Los Angeles, California to Jack and June Goldsberry, Stuart September 30, 1941. He attended public schools in Los Angeles. He started working for his father's trucking company running mail from Los Angeles to Phoenix, Arizona. Later working for Delta Truck Lines, his first union job, when he was 20 years old. He moved to Central Point, Oregon in 1978. There, he worked for several union carries before going to work for Teamsters Local 962 as a business representative and later Secretary/Treasurer. He briefly retired in 2004, but went back to work as an organizer/business representative. He retired February 2022.

Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, trains, and traveling. He was a dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Stuart, sons Jerry L Stuart and wife Phyllis, Los Angeles, California, Tom Stuart and wife Heather, Reno, Nevada, daughters Beth Stuart, Medford, Oregon, Coleen Cannan and husband Troy, Reno, Nevada, and Jaime Baker and husband Eric Baker of Central Point, OR. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Jack and Jim Stuart. He was preceded in death by his son, Damon Stuart of Central Point, Oregon and his sister, Judy Hubey.
