George William Kirkpatrick

George William Kirkpatrick, 80, of Medford, OR. passed away May 31, 2011. He was born February 22, 1931 in Santa Monica, CA. to Dwight & Maude (Scannell) Kirkpatrick. In 1953 George married Beverly Jean Reesman, then in 1954 he served in the USAF until 1956. George was a teacher for 28 years at Culver City High School, he taught Physical Ed., history, and was a coach for wrestling & girls volley ball. He and Beverly moved here from Texas in 1998, Beverly passed away in 2001. George enjoyed reading, fishing, fox news & sports. In his final years he enjoyed spending time with his last love Rose Carpenter and his family. He is survived by his daughter Melinda Mochau, daughter Carleen Kirkpatrick, grandchildren Ryon Lee Ray & Tyler William Ray, & companion Rose Carpenter. George was preceded by his wife, parents, & a brother Robert Kirkpatrick. George will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him. Memorial contributions can be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
