Eugene "Gene" C. Trammell
Eugene "Gene" C. Trammell, 93, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2007 at his home in Talent. A funeral will be Monday, October, 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pastor Brian Steller will officiate. A viewing will be held Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Gene was born on February 1, 1914 in Arch, N.M. to parents, Tillman & Glenn Trammell, now deceased. In 1940, he married Edna Pollard, who preceded him in death in 1995. The couple moved to the Rogue Valley from San Bernadino, Calif. in 1977. He worked mostly in southern California as a Union Electrical Contractor.
He loved wood working and gardening.
Gene was also preceded in death by one son, Ron Trammell. He is survived by one son, Larry W. Trammell, of Yucaipa, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
