Barbara Helen Stroud, 82, of White City, Oregon, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Barbara was born July 5, 1929, in Webb City, Oklahoma, to Isaac Milton Smith and Garrnet Eugene Barber. In 1965, she moved to the Rogue Valley from Portland.
On August 27, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Barbara married James Melvin Stroud. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Mike Stroud, of Central Point, Oregon, and Allen Stroud, of Medford, Oregon, one sister, one brother, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 2006, two sisters, and two brothers.
A cryptside service will be held Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
