Andreas William Rebhahn
Andy was a friendly figure in the Gold Beach community for many years, making daily “can and bottle” collection tours to local businesses and perusing thrift shops for stylish jackets and the best toys. Though disabled from childhood, Andy didn’t let his “special needs” status slow him down. He was here to laugh at silly jokes, make art and draw, enjoy great pizza, and dance to the music. If he didn’t like something, he just walked the other way, and if someone made him mad, he felt it was adequate to threaten to use “bad words” but not actually do it.
Andy grew up in Port Orford and moved to a group home in Gold Beach in 1998. He moved to Brookings in 2018 and Ashland in 2020. Andy completed his mission earth shortly before turning 42 years old on July 14, 2022. He joins his father William on the “other side” and is severely missed by two sisters, two brothers, many adoring caregivers, and his mother.
