Aldine Mosier (nee Barnum) passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at age 84. She was born in Pioche and raised in Mesquite, Nevada. She was a 55-year resident of Oregon’s Rogue Valley. A talented artist, Aldine painted in various mediums including oil, pastels, acrylics and watercolors. She most enjoyed painting fine porcelain china due to it being a challenging medium to master and because the close friendships she made were so dear. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher who supported and inspired many. One of her greatest joys was providing delicious food and a welcoming home to all - family, friends and new acquaintances. She laughed often and delighted others with animated stories. Aldine is greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by father, James Alvin Barnum; mother, Delila Potter; brothers, Zolan Elmo Tanner, James Elroy Barnum, William Ross “Bill” Barnum; husbands Clay Hudson, Donald Paul O’Gara, and Don Mosier; and daughter, Kathy Hudson. Aldine is survived by her children, Donald Grant O’Gara, Brian Paul O’Gara, James Scott O’Gara, Devra Dawn O’Gara, Shirley Ann Bright, Claudia Luz Williams; and 13 grandchildren.
