Thurmon Wayne "Bud" Richards Thurmon Wayne "Bud" Richards, age 78, of Medford, Ore., passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Thurmon Wayne "Bud" Richards, was born on April 24, 1929, to Wayne and Mable Richards, in Maude, Okla. He married Virginia Richards, on September 13, 1947, in Seminole, Okla. In 1975, they moved to Medford from Cupertino, Calif. Thurmon built custom homes for T & T Construction for a living. He enjoyed horses and loved to play the fiddle. He belonged to the 32nd Degree Masons, the FLH Motorcycle Dressers of Medford, and the Medford Corvette Club. Thurmon is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Mable Richards. Thurmon is survived by his wife, Virginia Richards, of Medford, Ore.; son, Gary Richards and wife, Brenda, of Medford, Ore.; daughters, Sharon Delisle and husband, Dennis, of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Cleta Joy Charles, of Central Point, Ore.; sisters, Betty Winningham, of Central Point, Ore., and Marie Martin and husband, Dick, of Talent, Ore.; and brothers, John Richards and wife, Jan, of Medford, Ore., and Tom Richards and wife, Patty, of Central Point, Ore. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Annette Delisle, Dennis Delisle Jr., Kendra Magee, Tuesday Richards, and Erin Charles; and five great-grandchildren, Cooper Delisle, Joseph Delisle, Jayden Delisle, Preston Barlow, and Jacob Magee. A viewing will be held Friday, August 10, 2007, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel in Medford, Ore., on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Mickelson of New Song Church will be officiating the service.
