Bessie M. Ford Bessie M. Ford, 87, of Central Point, Ore., died peacefully at home on July 19, 2008. She was born May 28, 1921, in Salem, Ark., to William and Isabella (Craft) Moore. In 1934, she moved with her parents to California, where she met and married John Ford in July of 1939. Bessie was dedicated to her Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully lead bible studies and prayer groups and participated in many church activities. Her love of travel was only exceeded by her love of family and she was always active in her children's and grandchildren's lives. Her remarkable strength and loving heart touched the lives of many people and the impact of her life will be felt for generations. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Robert) Deacon, Rita Barham, Karen (Richard) Rundle and Debi Ford; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration of Bessie's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 E. McAndrews Rd., Medford, OR.
